Social Hall
This Agreement is made on the day of ___________, 200______, by(Name)_________________
and between Lehigh Temple Association, Inc. a non-profit Pennsylvania Corporation
with its registered office at Macungie, Lehigh County,
Pennsylvania, hereinafter called “Owner”;
AND
hereinafter called “Licensee.”
I. Premises: The Owner hereby grants to the Licensee the right to use the premises
known as the of Lehigh Temple Association Social Hall situated at 2100 Route 100
South, Macungie, Pennsylvania, including the parking lot, bathroom facilities,
refrigeration, freezer, social hall, and the kitchen (only if so indicated below) for
and during the times listed below, subject to the provisions herein contained.

III. Time:
A. The Licensee shall have use of the premises from (date of event)________________,
Time of rental requested= ________ A.M. /P.M. until ________ A.M. /P.M., at which time this agreement shall terminate and expire.
B. If the Licensee holds over and wrongfully continues in possession of the
premises after expiration of the time period of the use of the premises as set
forth above, the Licensee agrees to pay an additional fee of $50.00 per hour.
IV. License Fee:
A. Check the appropriate ones that apply to you. For the use of the Premises
the Licensee agrees to pay the Owner the following fees of:

This fee includes 1 hour for set up and 1 hour for Clean up
4. _____A fee of SIXTY Dollars ($60.00) will be assessed for the use of the kitchen (Includes refrigeration, freezer, stove, oven and counter).
5. _____A deposit fee of One Hundred Fifty Dollars ($150.00] refundable in conjunction with
Section VI, Part C.
6. Total Fee $ ______________(Deposit is NOT part of total fee but will returned after rental)
B. Checks are to be made payable to “Lehigh Temple Association.”

C. The above fee is to be paid upon the execution hereof. If the Licensee
terminates this Agreement for any reason within thirty (30) days of the day
of the use of the premises the Licensee shall forfeit the license fee. If the
Licensee terminates this Agreement by more than thirty (30) days written
notice must be given to the Event Manager of the Owner and two-thirds
(2/3) of the total fee shall be returned to the Licensee by the owner.
V. Tables, Chairs, Heating/Air Conditioning: The Owner shall provide the Licensee
with the use of tables and chairs of the Owner. The Owner shall provide heat or air
conditioning on the date and time of use.
VI. Use, Setup, Cleaning and Damages:
A. The Licensee shall use the premises for the reason of having a
______________________________, and for no other purpose. The
Licensee shall not permit any unlawful or illegal activity to take place on
the Premises; the Licensee shall not use the Premises or permit them to be
used in any manner that will cause a cancellation of or an increase in the
existing premium rate of fire, liability, or other insurance policies on the
Premises.
B. The Licensee shall have the responsibility of setting up said tables and
chairs. The Licensee, upon the expiration of the use time as herein
provided, agrees to place the tables and chairs as directed by the Event
Manager of the Owner.
C. Previous to the execution hereof the Licensee shall pay the Owner the sum
of One Hundred Fifty Dollars ($150.00) as a deposit. The Licensee
shall be responsible for removal of all trash, garbage, refuse, and debris
including but not limited to paper and plastic products, cups, bottles, food
waste, and ect., from tables, floor area, and kitchen and kitchen counter
area by placing the same in the proper receptacles provided by the
Owner. The Licensee shall also sweep and mop the floor so the Premises are in a
before the rental condition. If the Licensee fails to perform this responsibility
the Licensee shall forfeit the One Hundred Fifty Dollars ($150.00) for clean-up
deposit. If the Licensee conforms to the above, ($150.00) Dollars
($150.00) of the clean-up deposit shall be returned to the Licensee by the
Owner. If the Licensee does not use the Premises, the clean-up deposit shall be returned to the Licensee.
D. The Licensee shall report to the Owner any damages to any of the property of the Owner, as soon as, reasonably possible to the Event
Manager.. The Licensee shall be responsible for the cost of repair or replacement of any damaged property of the Owner. The Rental
Officer and Licensee shall make arrangements for repair or replacement within Ten (10) days of the date of use.

E. The Premises must be satisfactorily cleaned up and vacated by the said time of 10:30 P.M. on the day of the event with no exceptions.
VII. Rules Of Use:
The Rules and Regulations Of Use are attached hereto as Schedule “A” and made
part of hereof. The Licensee agrees to enforce and comply with the said Rules and
Regulations Of Use. Any violation of the Rules and Regulations Of Use may result
in the immediate termination of the Premises with all sums paid to be forfeited to the Owner.
VIII. Rules Of Use Concerning The Use Of Alcoholic Beverages:
The consumption of alcoholic beverages is prohibited on the Premises except
during “special occasions.” The “special occasion” must be presented to the Event
Manager of the Owner, and the Event Manager will determine if the usage qualifies
as a “special occasion.” The Owner cannot or will not provide any alcohol, and the
Licensee shall and will accept all responsibility if it is determined that a said
“special occasions” applies.

IX. Liability and Indemnification:
The Licensee accepts full responsibility and liability for the use of the Premises and
assumes all liability for any bodily injury or property damage that may occur either
to the Licensee, his, her, or its invitees, or to any member of his, her or its party ,in
on, or about the Premises of the Owner. Furthermore, the Licensee agrees to
indemnify and hold The Owner, its agents, members, successors, and assigns
harmless against any and all liabilities, claims, demands, damages, costs, and
expenses arising from the use of the Premises by Licensee, his, her, and its invitees
and/or members.
X. General and Miscellaneous:
A. This Agreement is binding upon the heirs and assigns of the parties,
however, the licensee may not assign this Agreement without the prior
written consent of the Owner.
B. No amendment, modification, or alteration of the terms of this Agreement
shall be binding unless in writing, dated and executed by the parties.
C. If the Licensee is a corporation, association, or partnership, the person
signing this Agreement on behalf of the Licensee herein warrants that he
or she has the authority of the entity to act and sign on the behalf of the
Licensee.
